Terms of Service

Laudy is a DBA of X Enterprises, LLC, 18122 3rd Dr SE, Bothell, WA 98012.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Laudy, including the marketing site at laudy.co, the waitlist, and the product if and when you are invited to use it. Laudy is a reputation product: review requests, review monitoring and replies, widgets, and video testimonials.

By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or using Laudy, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy at /privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Public signup is not open as of 26 September 2026. The product loop is in testing. Joining the waitlist is not an account, not a paid plan, and not a charge. We will not auto-charge a waitlist email. When a seat is offered, these Terms apply to that product use.

X Enterprises also publishes corporate Product Terms of Service at https://x.enterprises/legal/terms. Those Terms cover accounts, billing, Your Data, AI features, Washington law, and arbitration for X Enterprises products. This page is the Laudy Product Terms of Service. It names this product and the waitlist facts. It does not replace the corporate Product Terms. If there is a conflict on a billed account, the corporate Product Terms control except where this page states a Laudy-specific rule (fake reviews, review-platform rules, and customer-contact consent).

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use Laudy for a business, you represent that you can bind that business.

Waitlist and accounts

The waitlist collects the name, email, and business name you submit so we can send one invite when a seat is ready.

If you receive an account: you must give accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under the account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email hello@laudy.co.

portal.laudy.co is the sign-in host named on this site. Public self-serve signup is not open. A "Start free" or "Create account" control on a marketing page does not open an account by itself.

What Laudy is

When the product is available to you, Laudy is meant to help a business ask customers for reviews, watch and reply to reviews, show widgets, and collect video testimonials you approve.

Laudy may connect to third-party review platforms (including Google, Yelp, and Facebook) through their APIs. Those platforms have their own terms. We are not responsible for API changes, removed reviews, or account actions those platforms take.

AI-suggested reply drafts, if offered, can be wrong. You are responsible for what you send or publish.

We do not promise uninterrupted access. Scheduled work, outages, or third-party changes may pause the product. We do not publish a 99.9% uptime SLA, and we do not publish SOC 2 on this host.

Customer contacts you upload

If you upload or sync customer names, emails, or phone numbers, you represent that you have the right and any required consent to contact those people, including under CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, and other rules that apply to you. You are responsible for opt-outs and for the content of the messages you send.

Fake reviews are prohibited

You may not use Laudy to solicit, generate, post, or facilitate fake, incentivized, or inauthentic reviews, including payment or gifts in exchange for a review. You may not use Laudy to spam, to contact people who opted out, or to violate a connected platform's rules. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.

We may suspend or close an account for those uses.

Billing (when a paid plan is actually sold)

Paid plans, if and when offered to you, are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until you cancel. Prices on marketing pages are not a charge until you have an account and a plan. The waitlist does not create a subscription.

Cancellation, when billing exists, takes effect at the end of the then-current period unless a longer refund right applies. If an annual plan is sold, a full refund is available if you cancel within 14 days of the first purchase; after that, the annual fee is not refunded and access continues through the paid period.

We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price increase, effective on the next renewal. Taxes are extra.

We do not have to keep a free tier. If a free tier exists, we may change its limits with 30 days' notice.

Closing an account

You may close an account by emailing hello@laudy.co or, when the product exposes it, by using account settings. We may suspend or close an account for a material breach of these Terms, including fake-review use.

After closure, access ends. We will delete account data within 30 days except where law requires a longer hold. Export, when the product exposes it, should be done before you close the account.

As-is; liability

Laudy is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent law allows.

To the maximum extent law allows, X Enterprises, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from Laudy. Total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid for Laudy in the twelve months before the claim, or US $100 if you paid nothing.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Washington law and arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Except where law requires otherwise, a dispute is resolved by binding individual arbitration in Bothell, Washington, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You and we waive class actions and class arbitration. Either party may use small-claims court or seek an injunction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

Before arbitration, email hello@laudy.co with the subject line "Legal Notice" and try to resolve the dispute for 30 days.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is material and you have a paid account, we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or a notice on the site.
